Foothills Brass performs at the Moose Jaw Cultural Centre
on March 22.
Foothills Brass, a five-member quintet of brass-instrument players, performs in the Mae Wilson Theatre on March 22 at 8 p.m.
   Foothills Brass, founded in Calgary, Alberta, in 1981, has five members who are from Canada and the United States.
   Chris Morrison and Jay Michalak play trumpet; Joanna Schulz, French horn; Catie Hickey, trombone and Bob Nicholson, tuba.
   The current members each have years of impressive professional music training and experience playing in symphony orchestras.
   The quintet performs at up to 200 events each year at concert halls, universities, classrooms and cathedrals.
   Foothills Brass promises its audience “serious fun” with its “five outrageous, high-energy personalities” presenting a polished, entertaining and humorous show.
